Woooo... sounds spooky, but really it's going to be a lot of fun. The Seer is a new blog coming from dating and seduction author Mike Pilinski that will have, well, probably little to do with dating and meeting girls. It's going to be a center for and a celebration of Learning. Specifically, self learning -- a place where people who like to learn about all sorts of things... new ideas, new skills, an expansion of existing talents, etc. can come and hang out.
The blog is under development right now and I'm just getting a few of the initial opening posts written. This page isn't being advertised anywhere yet, but if you stumbled across the domain name by some freaky accident of Google search then I certainly do welcome you and invite you to drop me a quick e-mail so I can put you on my notification list for when the blog actually launches -- which should be in a few weeks hopefully.
If you'd be interested in contributing to The Seer I would love to have you aboard. It's going to be a freestyle project and I'm looking for interesting posts intelligently written on almost any subject; as long as they're not too nasty, crazy or diabolical in nature. You'll be welcome to promote your products as well, especially if they are educational in some way such as e-books, videos or audio programs that teach something. The subjects can be about anything that people might be interested in learning more about, from day-trading stocks & options to barbecuing & grilling chicken to grooming long-coat Chihuahua's, or whatever.
Remember, the theme here is Self-Education. In the old days before the idea of schools and public education for children became the norm, there were only 3 types of individuals who had access to any sort of knowledge and literacy: nobility (a.k.a., the wealthy), the clergy (so they could transcribe scrolls and Bible's by hand), and the self-taught individual who learned what he could about the world out of a powerful curiosity and desire to learn on his own. This later type of person was often referred to as a "seer" by the masses of superstitious and uneducated that he typically lived among. Probably because whatever limited knowledge he might've possessed about things like the weather, folk medicine or the movement of the planets and stars must've made him seem like a mystic to most people. (I wonder how many seers ended up being burned at the stake?)
Anyway, if you fancy yourself a modern day "seer" then do please drop me a line and let me know about yourself. Like I said, I'd love to have you contribute.

And so for now, it's back to the cyber salt mine. ;-)
